Business Consultant
We work with home service businesses, medical practices, chiropractic clinics, and ecommerce companies to diagnose bottlenecks and scale operations. As a Business Consultant, you'll work with founders to map unit economics, identify what's stopping growth, and implement systems across marketing, sales, and operations.
You'll own client relationships from diagnosis through execution, run weekly strategy sessions, and measure outcomes against KPIs. You need to understand P&L, be comfortable with data, and know how to push back on founders when the problem isn't what they think it is.
What you will do.
- Run the diagnosis with each founder: map the unit economics, margins and cash flow, and find the one constraint that is actually holding growth back.
- Turn the diagnosis into a plan, then implement the systems across marketing, sales and operations, working alongside our media buyers and sales team.
- Own the client relationship from diagnosis through execution, and run a weekly strategy session with every founder you work with.
- Set the KPIs for each engagement, track them every week, and report plainly on what moved, what did not, and why.
- Push back when the problem is not what the founder thinks it is, and back it up with the numbers.
What we look for.
- Experience in consulting, operations or a senior growth role, with results you can point to. Home service, clinic or ecommerce experience is a plus.
- You read a P&L with confidence and understand unit economics: margins, cost to acquire a customer, lifetime value and cash flow.
- Comfort in the data. You build your case from the numbers, not from opinion.
- The confidence to challenge a founder, and the judgement to know when it matters.
- Clear, direct communication, including when the news is hard to hear.
How you are measured.
Client outcomes against the KPIs you set with each founder, and how long those clients stay with us.
You will always know whether you hit it, and so will we.
Apply for this role.
In the box that asks why we should hire you, tell us one thing you would fix in a home improvement business doing seven figures, and how you would fix it. That is what we read first.
